On the taint of 'activism'
As I look deeper into the interactions and co-constitutions of economy, power, material, and digitality I frequently butt up against 'activism'. As someone who gags on populist activism I find myself treading very narrow ground between elitist crypto-activism (perhaps bordering Straussian inversions), and The Coup's treatment of CEOs. Moving the game into the digital domain doesn't help, accursed as it is with so many robot engineers and economic interests. I think it is time to tell the white university students to drop the placards, but what's the replacement?
